Finlay Grant is in love with Leslie Harrison and ready to ask for her hand.  Unfortunately, her brother announces her betrothal to another before Fin gets his chance.  Leslie loves Fin but she has to keep her family safe by agreeing to marry another.  However, Fin refuses to give his woman up! Will Fin be able to win his woman or will she slip through his fingers?

A Highlander for Christmas is a sweet holiday story.  While I enjoyed the story it just never created that special spark that I love. Perhaps the length is the reason this story didn’t rev me up. Highlander tales are usually big bold stories, maybe it just didn’t transcend for me in its novella package. Fin and Leslie are already “in love” as the story begins. I feel like I missed some of the fun moments leading to them discovering love.  If you are looking for a short highlander romance then this is a good fit. It’s a good story it just wasn’t for me.
