Firefighter Sean Adams pulled the beautiful Madison Kelly from a fire, saving her life.  Since then he cannot stop thinking about her.  Unfortunately, he hasn’t had the right opportunity to pursue her and Madison hasn’t seemed eager to move on.

Police officer, Madison has had a hard time dealing with the injuries left from the fire.  She has also found it hard to ignore the rising feelings for her savior, Sean.  Well now it’s time for her to protect him at the Boys of Beachville photo shoot.

A little time in close proximity causes the sparks between Madison and Sean to become uncontrollable flames and there is only one way to satisfy them.  What will happen after Madison and Sean quench their thirst for each other?

A Lick of Flame is a hot summer read.  Madison and Sean burn up the pages of this delicious story.  They are perfect as they share some very steamy scenes.  Madison needs Sean more than she ever realizes.  Since her injury Madison doesn’t have a good image of herself.  Sean is the only one with any hope of making Madison see how beautiful she is and convincing her of her worth.  I do love this aspect of the story.  There is even a nice bit of suspense in A Lick of Flame but the story centers on the hot relationship between Madison and Sean.
