Jory Keyes believes he and Vice detective Sam Kage have finished riding the emotional roller coaster they’ve been on when Jory’s life is threatened and Sam decides what to do that is best for Jory.  Will Sam be gone forever? Can they find their way back to each other? And if they do, will Jory take another chance on Sam?

The action and intensity that starts off A Matter of Time 3 is like a punch in the gut. It’s fast, hard, and up close and personal, but it’s nothing compared to when the danger dies down and Sam leaves.  Sam and Jory’s breakups are killing me, but I can’t stop reading. I simply adore Jory and Sam, individually and as a couple, and I can see the forest through the trees when it comes to their happy ending. I also love Sam’s family, Dane Hartcourt, and the entire cast of colorful characters that weave in and out of the A Matter of Time stories encompassing and enhancing every page. Their breakups are draining and heartbreaking and yet, I keep taking Sam back too. I thought Mary Calmes might show mercy and make things easier for Sam and Jory by book three. I’m a self-proclaimed, hopeless romantic and I’m waiting on baited breathe for their happily ever after. The A Matter of Time series is one of the most provocative I have ever read, and although I anxiously await the final chapter, I know I’ll be sad when it’s over.
