Melanie and Kade have been mated for almost two years and while things where hot and heavy at the beginning of their relationship things have taken a turn since the birth of their son Finn. Mel and Kade can never get anytime to themselves. Kade is tired of seeing his beautiful wife with circles under her eyes. He wants to see those light up with passion once again and he has the perfect idea; A Night Away from it all. But he first needs to find a babysitter for his bouncing baby boy. Kade enlists his brother Maddox for the night. This Night Away is bound to be one they all will never forget.

It makes total sense for Mel and Kade to need a bit of a break from every responsibility for the night and just enjoy each other. It is exciting to get another intimate glimpse of the couple that started the Redwood Pack series. I just love the moments of them together especially the mushy ones with Finn. However, there is plenty of sizzle still between these two and A Night Away is exactly what they need to get their groove back. I like that Ms. Ryan gives her readers this light and happy story in between all of the drama going on in the series pertaining to the Central Pack rivalry. I particularly enjoyed Maddox’s evening with Finn. Those moments are some of my favorites as well. I cannot wait to learn more about Maddox and his special ability to feel the rest of the packs emotions. It’s such an intense power I can’t wait to read what happens in his story. A Night Away is a sweet read!
