Russian Prince Kasimir Xendzov vengeance is at hand. He will finally get back at his brother for his double-crossing ways years ago. He only has to use the innocent, Josie Dalton for a short while, but Kasimir soon discovers he had something he never knew before….honor! Will he be able to carry through with his plans, or will he risk it all for the sake of the girl?
Josie will do anything to save her older sister from harm, even if she has to make a deal with the devil. Agreeing to marry Kasimir to save her sister should be a walk in the park. After all, if she hadn’t tried to save them in the first place, her sister wouldn’t be in the predicament that she is in. Josie never counted on losing her heart to the duplicitous Prince, but she may have to just walk away when all is revealed.
A Reputation for Revenge was an enjoyable read with no true bad guy in the end. Although Kasimir started out with a plan and wanted so desperately to be wicked, his inner self just wasn’t what he always played out to be in A Reputation for Revenge.
Kasimir wanted to be ruthless in A Reputation for Revenge, but he had that soft center and not much of a hard outer core. He was an awesome hero who was still reeling from that act of betrayal by his own brother. Josie only wanted to protect her sister, but she got caught up in Kasimir’s plans for his brother. I found it amusing that this business minded man plotted and planned so much, yet got caught in his own machinations as he couldn’t foresee the actions of the people he strived to manipulate in A Reputation for Revenge. Not just his own scheme, but the other that he played with his brother as well! It was as though something meant for evil was turned in to something beautiful and worthwhile in A Reputation for Revenge.
