Willow loves creating decadent treats for her customers. It has always been a dream of hers to own a bakery and she has finally done it. Since opening there has only been one distraction in her life and a sexy distraction he is. Willow finds herself waiting on the stranger’s daily visits. Too bad on the day he finally asks her out Willow becomes a victim of a war she never knew existed.

Jasper and his brothers must fight their long-time enemies to save his mate. How will Willow react to learning Jasper’s secret? What if his mate decides that the supernatural world is not for her?

A Taste for a Mate starts off at a fast and furious pace with lots of action and drama to keep the reader enthralled. Jasper and Willow are so darn cute together once they actually get to spend a little time together. A Taste for a Mate gives the Redwood Pack family some history and an evil foe. The villains of this story are despicable and so easy to hate but they bring the right amount of tension to this supernatural romance story. Jasper and Willow sizzle together and keep the story entertaining in A Taste for a Mate. The reader also gets to know the rest of the Jamenson brothers in this story. I find them all compelling and can’t wait to read their stories. I also can’t wait to see what havoc their fiery sister gets into. A Taste for a Mate is a great shifter read. Carrie Ann Ryan gives her readers a wonderful family to get attached to and killer stories to keep them entranced.
