Ignored as a child by his father Alex Hearte fairs no better at his stepfather’s hand when the man tries to have him committed. The Lakeland family comprised of a father and seven sons who quietly live just outside Brac Village. Years ago the Alpha gave the bear shifter clan permission to settle and they’ve lived peacefully ever since with few knowing of their shifter side.

When Gavin Lakeland, one of a set of triplets, is introduced to Alex the shifter is speechless with happiness at finding his mate. Wooing the gun shy little man won’t be easy, especially when Alex has so many issues, but Gavin’s got no intention of turning back now that’s he’s found his other half. Problems mount for Alex however and he isn’t sure what to do. Since no one’s helped in the past he doesn’t know how to ask now which lands him in even more trouble. Only with Gavin’s love can Alex become the man he’s meant to, secrets and all.

Romance, danger, and a mystery or two are found within the pages of Alex’s Secret.  Tenderhearted Alex is perfectly matched with Gavin, a muscle bound bear with a heart of gold.  Their love story is the focus though a secondary plotline which has been threaded into many of the Brac Pack series answers more questions as well.  Alex’s Secret makes for some humorous and amorous moments for our two lovers.  A welcome addition to this series, Alex’s Secret lets a sweet soul find happiness once and for all.
