Mima Etu has lived a quiet life alone in the secluded north of the Canadian Rockies. She enjoys exercising her sled dogs and while on a run with a friend they come across a recent plane crash. They are shocked to find a man inside nearly frozen to death. They bundle him into Mima’s sled and take him back to her house, as a hospital isn’t possible with the approaching weather. As she nurses him back to health their attraction grows.

Gabriel Miller loses control of his Cessna while traveling at a low altitude in the Canadian Rockies. Gabe is flying low to keep from being detected by authorities due to his cargo. When he wakes up to find a gorgeous woman tending him he is surprised and intrigued. Now he is starting to long for a different type of life, one with Mima in it. But, will his employers let that happen or will they destroy everything in pursuit of their cargo?

Beautiful Criminal is an interesting mix of secluded northern lifestyles meeting a criminal enterprise. I found the overall story intriguing and an easy read. I was a little surprised at how easy the characters were able to befriend each other and the overall outcome. But, that being said it was a good overall read. If you like a sweet story set in the wilds of the far north than you will enjoy Beautiful Criminal.
