Sitting in an airport lounge during a 10 hour delay is not fun. Add to that, two children who seem to think he is in need of their help. Plus fretting the arrival of his friend, Will, and the apology he owes Will for making a pass at him has Garry frazzled.
Between a Rock and a Hard Place is definitely a story we can all relate to. Dreading something and then having those added extra annoyances added in and Garry gets it from all sides. The poor man is patiently waiting to pick up a dear friend at the airport. But all the while, knowing when Will shows up he needs to apologize for his behavior and hope he hasn’t damaged their friendship. If that isn’t nerve-racking enough, add in two rambunctious kiddies wandering about during the delay as well, and two who seem to think they need Garry’s attention, tends to make a person edgy. However, when his reunion with Will finally happens, his apology isn’t needed and the reunion is way more than he ever expected!
