After seeing an episode of Unsolved Mystery Hunters Zoe Adams is overwhelmed by eerie memories that she must investigate.  Her investigation lands her in Texas on the doorstep of one of the state’s richest families.  Her inquiries have landed her in a bit of trouble and the only person that can help her is P. I. Tyler Lopez.

Tyler Lopez isn’t looking for trouble; especially not the kind that comes in a gorgeous package.  When Zoe starts interfering with one of his clients he gets drawn into her investigation.  Tyler can’t help that his curiosity is peeked or that the beautiful Zoe has him all confused.  He thought he’d sworn off troublesome women but looks like he won’t be able to turn this one down.  Can Zoe and Tyler figure out the mystery before she pays with her life?

Blame it on Texas is fantastic!  I could not get enough of Tyler and Zoe’s stubborn personalities or their fiery heat.  I loved the mystery surrounding Zoe and that she wouldn’t give up on discovering the truth.  I love how Ms. Crain infuses her stories with humor, sass and keeps them sexy.  Blame it on Texas is a treat. It was great getting to visit with all of my favorite P.I.’s and the secondary couple that begins to form in this book has me all excited.  This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. However, the Hotter in Texas series just keeps getting better and better you don’t want to miss a second of it!
