Logan Tanner doesn’t relish returning to the ranch he grew up on. When his father has a stroke Logan heads home to help his sister take care of the ranch and their father. Knowing he will have to stay in his small hometown for the summer to take care of his father Logan rents his apartment in the city to some of his sisters friends and he counts the days until he can return to his big city life.

Megan Flynn has finally graduated with her veterinarian degree. Now she has to figure out what she’s going to do with it. Megan has always dreamed of starting a practice in a small town and perhaps taking up the training of Blue Heelers, cattle dogs. Megan plans to take the summer to think about her next move. Her thoughts are interrupted as a young girl shows up on her doorstep looking for her father.

Megan delivers Logan’s daughter to him and ends up finding a niche for herself in the tiny town of Morris Springs, Texas. She loves everything about Morris Springs and it doesn’t hurt that the sexy Logan is there as well. Logan and Megan spending the summer discovering more than they ever knew about life and each other but will they find everlasting love as well?

Blame it on Texas is a sweet southern romance. I myself also fell in love with the town of Morris Springs much like Megan. Blame it on Texas has some fun and outstanding characters. There is also a lot of emotion packed into this novel. Blame it on Texas is truly about self-discovery for Megan and Logan. The things they learn about themselves set the path for their future. Megan and Logan share fiery tempers and blistering chemistry. I really like these two. Tori Scott has brought love and family to the forefront in Blame it on Texas. Blame it on Texas is a one-of-a-kind story you don’t want to miss it.
