Returning home is a bittersweet lesson for Adam Kavanaugh after a nasty breakup. The sleepy town hasn’t changed much it seems. Getting used to quiet and dull will take some time after living in the city.
With no intention of starting a new relationship Adam can’t help it after his younger brother introduces him to Leith Marshall. There’s something quirky yet undeniably endearing about the guy who loves the river behind his home. Leith seems to walk around in his own little world most of the time, but for some reason Adam is entranced. The more time they spend together the more they can’t bear to be apart as long as Leith is near his beloved river. When Adam suggests a visit to the ocean could he seriously loose Leith forever to the water?
A contemporary romance with a strong dash of whimsy, By the River is enchanting. Going home might not have been the best choice but Adam is the right person for someone special like Leith. By the River tells a gentle tale of love with style, sweetness, and an ounce or two of fantasy.
