She definitely didn’t expect to see him shift into a giant grizzly bear.

Conan Cahill is spending some time getting back to nature and away from humans. How disturbing to realize a noisy human has sketched him naked and seen him turn into a bear. What’s worse is she refuses to give up the sketch! What is it about this woman that makes him crazy, besides her sweet smell? As a storm approaches Conan and Chloe are trapped in her tent with nothing else to do besides get up close and personal. When the storm is over will there be regrets or a happily ever after for this unlikely couple?

Clawed is the third book in the Wild Things Series and can be read as a stand-alone book. Clawed was okay as it has plenty of passionate eroticism but I just couldn’t get into this story as much as I would have liked. From Chloe walking in on her boyfriend with another woman to her chance meeting with Conan, it all felt too predictable. Conan’s attitude towards Chloe after they have sex is annoying and seems forced. Some of the best parts were actually when the main characters were conversing with their best friends.
