Luke Walker is an ex-Navy Seal and now one of the three brothers who own and run Walker Security.  Being the middle brother, Luke is the peacemaker and the easiest going of his brothers.  Injury might have taken Luke out of the Seals but it hasn’t stopped his urge to help those in need and to use his skills to the best of his ability.  Just before Luke left for his last SEAL mission, Luke met a woman that he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about.  One that is the best friend to his new sister-in-law and one that Luke is determined to get back into his bed and his life again.

Julie Harrison is a sexy divorce attorney, one whose clientele are among the rich and famous celebrities of the world.  Julie is getting a bit tired of being at the beck and call of people who only want to expose the worst parts of their spouses.  But the money is great, even if the hours are not.  Forced to leave town just before her best-friend’s wedding, Julie is struggling to get back in time to fulfill her duties as maid of honor when the man she has been trying to avoid shows up at the same airport.

Luke and Julie are forced together when a storm shuts down their flights and end up spending the night in a hotel.  It’s not a surprise that the strong attraction they had during their time together is still around and stronger than ever.  Stress is running Julie right now, with the wedding and what should have been a standard divorce turning very strange.  When Julie learns that a client’s spouse has turned up dead and starts feeling that someone is watching her, Luke is ready and willing to step in and find out what’s going on.  As Luke and Julie uncover more answers, a dark secret of illegal transactions comes to light and threatens to end the budding passion that Luke and Julie have finally given into.  Those same threats might just end Luke and/or Julie if they can’t find out who is the double agent in their mists.  When all heck breaks loose, will Julie and Luke see the morning together or will they just be two more notches on a turncoat’s gun belt?

A leave fling turns into a passionate future as two lovers race to find out what is behind the death of a judge’s spouse in Dangerous Secrets.  Julie might have the looks and body of a Vegas dancer but she is one vivacious attorney who wins for her clients.  Luke had to leave the SEALs after an injury ended that career early, but that hasn’t stopped how he acts when danger threatens those under his protection.  I loved watching as Julie and Luke circled each other trying to fight the attraction between them that was threatening to explode into erotic flames yet again.  I could tell that behind the tense situations was the fact that Julie was scared of being hurt.  I was hardly surprised when those flames burst into erotic encounters between Luke and Julie.  When both partners are determined to save and keep the other safe it leads to some interesting discussions and situations and that is exactly what Julie and Luke faced time and again.  I was surprised at what was behind the first murder that looked like a spousal conflict.  However, I was not surprised when Julie and Luke were able to come out on top when all was said and done.  Dangerous Secrets is very hot and spicy with the perfect touch of suspense to keep you guessing until the end.
