What begins as a tense family drama involving murder evolves into a fantasy filled with deadly shifters, vampires, and magic in Deadly Secrets. The first story in the Dark Kings of Eternity series packs a powerful punch. Jamie and another battle against everyone else in this darkly layered suspense filled tale with more mysteries than you can imagine. There is little cheer between the large cast of characters though deception is plentiful everywhere. Deadly Secrets slowly unfolds, almost too slowly, but once the plot gets rolling there’s no stopping it until several mighty climaxes explode. While major storyline points are answered the book does end with an obvious continuation. Powerful and intoxicating, Deadly Secrets will have readers panting for the next chapters. My foot is tapping with impatience already.
