Somewhere along the way Jamie Mayfield lost everything he valued in life. From his formerly loving parents taking him to a gay rehab center to watching a man being beaten to death before his eyes to slowly starving to death, Jamie never imagined life could be this tortuous. After all that, meeting Steven O’Dell seemed like a godsend at the time. Still somewhat naïve it isn’t long before Steven hooks him to drugs and introduces Jamie to a life in porn, before the cameras, and of course Steven controls any money that Jamie earns. With everything that’s happened in his young life Jamie holds the memory of his true love close, the boy he gave his heart to long ago, Brian McAllister.

These days Jamie’s life consists of getting high when Steven allows it and performing on film, as well as getting beaten when the mood hits his lover. Jamie is horrified when he comes face to face with Brian, his soul mate on a porn shoot. He can’t believe that Brian is allowing himself to sink so low to find Jamie. More importantly Jamie cannot let Steven see that Brian means anything to him or rescuing Jamie will be the least of their worries because Steven isn’t the type to let his lover go, ever. For Brian’s sake Jamie has to convince him to leave, but Brian refuses to go without him. Somehow Brian will have to make Jamie see that he’s worth saving. Between a rock and a hard place lays redemption or the end of the dream of being together, always.

Intense, gut wrenching drama permeates the pages of Discovered, the fourth story in the Little Boy Lost series. Unparalleled soul baring angst and turmoil follow the lives of Jamie and Brian. Jamie’s life is a mess and Brian’s apparently made his life a mess searching for Jamie. Their soul deep love is palpable and realistic in Discovered. This story should be read in order within the series to be fully appreciated, plus the first chapter is too confusing for someone new. Discovered has an edgy intricate plotline where strong emotion is the norm. Also, there is no end of steamy hot sexual encounters between the core group of characters. This is a very powerful tale and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
