The police and the FBI are up to their necks in bank robberies and bombings as escalating violence inBaltimorethreatens the safety of civilians and agents alike. Partners Ty Grady and Zane Garrett are finding out first hand that the bombers mean business. While they’re trying to discover their motives and identities, Ty and Zane are making personal revelations of their own.

Divide & Conquer is another well-penned story in the Cut & Run series. It’s packed with action and drama and takes several twists and turns. Ty and Zane’s ever-evolving romance is not without its usual angst, but things are definitely heading in the right direction. They share more tender moments than usual, which I love, and Zane seems even more submissive in bed, which is hot. Ty’s friend Nick throws a monkey in the mix, though, which seems to come out of left field and adds unnecessary additional angst. The case they are working on is an interesting one. It takes a bit of a back seat to what’s going on between Ty and Zane personally, but that’s okay because I’m at a point in the series where I needed that. The sneak peak into book five, Armed & Dangerous, offers not just more Ty and Zane but Julian Cross and Cameron Jacobs from Warrior’s Cross as well. Too cool. Divide & Conquer ends with the series’ traditional bang. But I have a different vibe about it this time. I’m hoping it’s more shock value than true trouble. Madeleine Urban and Abigail Roux are the Queens of Cliffhangers. It’s not a surprise that these ladies will leave you hanging; the only question is how far off the cliff.
