The world is in ruins, all because of man. Quietly dumping nuclear waste into the ocean brought Mother Nature’s mighty wrath upon mankind. Wars, misery, and suffering make sure that the United States are gone and the rest of the world is changed forever.
Humanity clings to the scraps of life that can be found, living any way they can with deformity, boils, and starvation constant company. One young man, Tren comes across a long forgotten, somewhat hidden computer pad. He trades prized possessions for a working battery to see if there is anything left on the pad. Luckily for Tren his mother insisted he learn to read because the pad turns out to be a diary of sorts from a man named Sam Devine. Through the most heinous of circumstances Sam meets the captive Pokatawer. Tren can’t help wondering if Sam is speaking of the mighty Po, revered for his fight against oppression. The diary is a precious, priceless gift to Tren as the world from years ago comes alive, on the pages of a computer pad.
Divine Devine’s Love Song is a haunting tale of the power of love against the back drop of man’s eternal greed. Thought provoking and incredibly imaginative, Divine Devine’s Love Song slowly draws the reader in and holds tight until the last page is done. It is difficult to understand at first, you’re literally thrown in at the deep end, but have patience because soon all becomes clear. A confusing start, nonetheless Divine Devine’s Love Song is intensely powerful with a romance right out of left field.
