After the bloody battle fought against a group of young, power hungry vampires Daniel Valente returned to the manor in England to lick his wounds both physical and mental. It was difficult to watch his master Titus Antonius Calidus with his soulmate and human lover Andreas Nikandros, yet also pleasing to know the man had finally found his other half. Going back to England seemed like the best way to get his bearings once more, but so far Daniel is still shaky and the least little thing completely throws the once overly confident vampire.

Sensing that Daniel isn’t doing so well Titus talks him into returning to the States and also quietly calls another ancient, Ryunosuke ‘Ryu’ Kimura asking him to visit. For centuries Ryu has cherished Daniel but because of Daniel’s complicated relationship with his master Ryu kept his true feelings to himself.

Maybe this is the time however to finally reveal what is in Ryu’s heart. Maybe this time Daniel is ready to look beyond Titus and see someone who loves him unconditionally. They always cared for each other with deep friendship, but perhaps Daniel will look at Ryu with new eyes. As Daniel begins to open his heart to Ryu it’s also beginning to look like their enemies were only laying low long enough to regroup before another strike against them. Unfortunately for Daniel it seems that he is the target this time.
Not if Ryu has anything to say about it, though.

An excellent blend of action, drama, and sensuality, Enduring Instincts hits the bull’s eye for entertainment. Enduring Instincts revolves around Daniel’s maturity and realization of what life has to offer him in the arms of Ryu. The intense love scenes between Daniel and Ryu are so skillfully written that the reader will feel like a voyeur at times. Enduring Instincts is the perfect escape with passion, intrigue, and a few tender, sorrowful surprises as well. Superb!
