Gabriel Wilder knows he is good at his job. When Jordan shows up wanting a special pair of wings, Gabriel seems to know exactly what she wants and works hard to give her the best tattoo he has ever done. By the time it’s finished, Gabriel knows that there is something special about Jordan herself.

When Jordan’s car won’t start, Gabriel gives her a ride home. Odd circumstances have Gabriel staying the night as they both try to figure out what they are feeling. The morning has Jordan’s worst nightmare coming true. Gabriel has no idea what is going on between them but he knows that absolutely no one is going to harm or hurt Jordan. That morning begins an adventure that will not only prove how strong their love is but also that love is stronger than the worst type of evil.

In a battle of good versus evil, only love is the true winner. Fallen brings Jordan and Gabriel together in just that ancient battle. I could not believe all that Jordan has survived and as her story rolled out, I understood her intense desire for her tattoo. Gabriel was such a mystery – gruff but with a heart of gold. As I learned more of his background I could understand why that tattoo parlor was where he belonged. I loved how Jordan’s sweetness contrasted with Gabriel’s pragmatism. Their final battle proved to me not only how strong love can be but also to never bet against it. I truly hope that the other two stories that were hinted at become a reality. Fallen is an erotic love story wrapped around a classic battle of good and evil. Fallen is a keeper in my opinion.
