Dusty is the drummer for The Dark Angels and now he is the only single member of the band too.  Dusty doesn’t mind that his band mates have found their loves, but he does get a bit lonely at times.  The night before the band leaves on an interview tour that leads directly into their international tour, Dusty meets J and after one intense night they are separated by the tours.

Justin (“J”) is a cross dresser pretty much always except when he is working.  He is also gay but after an extremely bad experience he is a bit gunshy when meeting new people.  Justin loves the Dark Angels and is known as DarkJustine on their boards.  He really has a crush on Dusty so getting the chance to meet him was a dream and the fact they connected so fast and hard was just icing on that cake.

Dusty is determined to keep in touch with J during the tour and is very excited to meet back up with J when they hit home.  But the night doesn’t turn out as expected, when Dusty realizes that J is Justin and not Justine.  Dusty knows he is heterosexual and not even bi, yet as the time away from J turns to weeks after the ruined date Dusty reaches out to see if their connection is still there.  J is more than tentative to agree to meet Dusty again after having his heart broken so badly but can’t refuse.  That same feeling is still there as Dusty and J work at knowing each other yet again, this time in the light of the day.  Their relationship is getting serious when the papers publish a picture that turns both Dusty and J’s worlds upside down.  Their love is so new and raw and now suddenly tested in a way that could tear them apart once and for all.  With the help of the other band members and friends, can Dusty and J find a way to overcome the things that are trying to tear them apart and keep the love they had discovered?

Mistaken identity in a dark and noisy club almost destroys a love that will complete two lost and lonely men in Finally Fallen.  I felt so bad for both Dusty and J when the mistake that Dusty made the night they met came to light.  J hadn’t lied when giving his name but the noise had Dusty misunderstanding and then there was the board identity that both knew.  I was so happy when Dusty finally reached out to J and they were able to take baby steps to put their relationship back together.  I could understand why both Dusty and J were unsure of going forward and yet couldn’t help themselves.  The way they came together to fight for their relationship when the hurdles just kept coming and getting higher had me knowing they would find a way.  And did they ever find a way to make a family they both always wanted when things could have gone so wrong.  Finally Fallen shows the ups and downs of an alternate lifestyle when you also have to throw in the public spotlight.  I laugh, frowned and finally smiled as I watched Dusty and J fight and win their chance at love – the forever kind.
