This night is made for partying for the bride and groom to be. Lily and Nathan’s wedding is coming soon, of course, their families and friends have planned the best and zaniest bachelorette and bachelor parties for them. If anyone can put on the best get-togethers to wish Nathan and Lily the best for their upcoming wedding it’s the Murphys and the Chases.
The girls have gone all out to find the best party favors and treats that will tease them all with one of the best parts of their men. Of course, the stories and the memories come out when the teasing and fun begins at the Pumphouse. Even the men at the restaurant are having fun watching the women party.
The boys are going to be outdone, but since strippers are out, it’s off for beers, pool and trash talking at Tonk’s bar. Of course, since it is the Murphys and Chases no one is really surprised when the men’s party in interrupted by jealous exes and ultimately by their well-loved women partners– with party favors in tow. The night ends up with much laughter, raunchy jokes and the type of love that will hold these characters together through thick and thin. Just another night of celebration for our two favorite families and their friends that make Petals, Georgia a great place to visit.
Lily and Nathan’s wedding is nearing, so there has to be the going/giving away parties as only the Chases and Murphys can do it. Girls’ Night Out is a view into the ongoing lead up to Nathan and Lily’s wedding. This time it’s the night of the bachelor/bachelorette parties, and I was not surprised when the cake and party favors started a night of laughter, fun and loving. The boys might not be having quite as much fun as the girls are, but that only lasts until the girls suddenly show up to end the night with the men they love – just as it should be. Of course, a couple of sour apples had to show their heads, but I knew nothing would dim the love surrounding our partiers. I have loved every visit to Petals, Georgia and I really love these little snapshots into the lives of some of my favorite characters from so many books. I hope that we either get an entire book in which Nathan and Lily’s wedding is spotlighted or another visit, but a bit longer one to cover it all. Girls’ Night Out is a quick look at a night of fun and games with Lily, Nathan and their family and friends. If you love Murphys and the Chases, you can’t miss this second look at what is going on.
