Hugh Hilbert is unquestionably a vain, arrogant man. A lawyer within his family’s prestigious firm Hugh is heir apparent though his father continues to tightly hold the purse strings. He has no problem whatsoever looking down on regular people or worrying about recriminations for his own behavior. Wealth and privilege give Hugh everything except what he yearns for most – leather, tattoos and little blonde twinks.
In town from the Bayou celebrating the birth of his brother’s first cub, Alpha Tobis of the Blood Moon Pack has felt, well twitchy since he arrived and doesn’t know why. It all becomes clear however when he runs into his mate at a gas station stop of all things. Tobis follows him to the trendy club Night Moves, amused to discover his mate’s lack of morals. Before the night is through he will put Hugh in his place, under Tobis.
Sexual tension and dominance permeates Haunting the Night. Highly unlikeable Hugh gets his comeuppance at the hands of a petite, blonde Alpha whose power comes across as he takes control. Haunting the Night is a hot juicy tale of karma. Steamy and scintillating in one.
