Shaw Cassidy takes a bullet to the head and survives but unfortunately she cannot remember anything including what happened to her or why.  She doesn’t realize that her company Cassidy Global Research is under investigation and she is the prime suspect.  Most of the law enforcement officials want to put her away but there is one man standing in their way.

Cole Marinos used to love Shaw. They grew up together but tragic circumstances forced them apart.  Now he is back in her life but she has no idea who he is.  Cole thinks it will be easier to remain detached this way. After all he’s only interested in finding the real culprit behind the corruption at Cassidy Global. Unfortunately for him the longer he is around Shaw the harder it is to forget the reasons he doesn’t love her anymore.

While Cole attempts to forget his feelings Shaw struggles to remember hers.  Will she remember who shot her before it’s too late? It seems danger is closing in on Shaw and the only person standing in its way is Cole. Will this finally bring them together or tear them apart forever?

Her Forgotten Betrayal begins with a bang, literally! This intense suspenseful romance kicks off in an excited fashion.  I love how the reader is kept guessing right along with Shaw.  We don’t know what is going on or who is trying to kill her.  I enjoyed learning the secrets of Shaw’s past along with her.  Her relationship with Cole being the most anticipated reveal.  It’s obvious that the past they share is deep and passionate.  The chemistry between them is hot and thrilling.  I must admit that I kind of suspected the enemy behind all of the nefarious deeds but knowing didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the book.  Ms. DeStefano does an excellent job of keeping the reader engaged in the romance of Cole and Shaw.  There are some powerful emotions being held back by this couple but when they let go of their emotions you can feel the love.  Her Forgotten Betrayal is a powerful romance.
