Shuttled from one boarding school to the next with summer camp in-between, the brilliant mind of Kael Hammerson was fed, but his social skills were sadly lacking. By the time Kael received his doctorate he was naïve and ripe for a relationship that evolved into violent abuse. Five years of abuse and injuries occurred before Kael was able to find the inner strength to leave Australia and the man who made his life hell.
An offer from AngleLow Labs in Ireland was the perfect answer with enough miles away to ease his soul and make a new start. It takes many long months before the shy doctor begins to gain confidence and realize that when his boss Dr. Hugh Price comes around Kael is embarrassingly turned on. He’d most likely be mortified and gratified to know that Hugh is equally intrigued.
Their mixed signals will have to wait however after an unidentified type of snake is found in the North Sea. Next, there are sightings of sea serpents and dragons which Kael and Hugh are afforded an uncomfortable front row seat. If all that wasn’t disconcerting enough Kael begins to have strange dreams that morph into reality. The world is changing, and Kael and Hugh are on the front lines. It’s only a matter of time before the ultimate sacrifice is asked.
Tension run rampant in the suspense laden drama Here Be Dragons. Three distinct plotlines weave together in Kael and Hugh’s wild adventure where discovery and danger comes calling with each new day. Kael has deep seeded emotional issues after living with abuse, Hugh, on the other hand, has patience and kindness in spades. Then there’s the romance and hot sex quickly developing. Finally we have the magical creatures and beings coming to the forefront of Here Be Dragons. Author T.A. Chase manages to keep all the balls in the air to bring together a unique and entertaining tale. Fair warning, Here Be Dragons is not the end.
