What will he do when Nate doesn’t want to let him go?

His Client is a lovely, hot, and emotional historical tale.  Jasper may be a hooker with a heart of gold, but he’s no cliché.  He’s a good and caring man who only wants to be loved, and I couldn’t fault him for that.  I felt bad for him when Nate obsessed over his friend.  Nathaniel, on the other hand, is a bit on the clueless side at first.  He knows he likes being around Jasper, but he doesn’t connect the dots regarding his feelings.  When Jasper decides to retire, Nate is shocked.  While the outcome of the story might be expected, the journey to get there is very enjoyable.  Ava March is quickly becoming an auto-buy author for me, and His Client is definitely up to par with her other work.  Historical fans: read His Client.
