An innocuous photograph in the newspaper advertizing a nearby zoo hosting a rare white buffalo for a week draws the attention of Caleb Belikov.  The chameleon shifter believes the animal may be trapped somehow and chooses to investigate along with several members of their motorcycle gang.  What they learn stuns the group literally speechless, most especially Caleb when he looks into the eyes of his mate.

Underhanded treachery and intrigue go hand in hand with spicy love in Hope For a Buffalo.  Wishes verses reality have taken a heavy toll on Caleb’s mate, luckily for him his mate is the perfect match which gives this tale an extra dash of good feelings.  The climax has a strong buildup though the actual ‘high point’ is over too quickly. Nonetheless, Hope For a Buffalo is part of an enjoyable series that engages readers and continues to offer original, emotional romances.
