Unfortunately, the jerk leaves her stranded on Gansett Island with no money. With no money and no place to stay Grace finds herself crying all alone at the local Tiki Bar.

Evan McCarthy is known for his revolving door of women. He can’t stand to see a woman cry especially not during his performance. During a break he decides to see what plagues the beautiful woman at stage left. What he discovers is she excites him in a way he’s never experienced.

Evan McCarthy takes Grace home to his parent’s house and shows her that not all men are dogs. When he puts her on the ferry the next day both are left with longing feelings. When Grace returns to the Island they both throw caution to wind in order to discover if what they feel is love. Will Grace mean the end of Evan’s playboy ways?

Marie Force weaves a magical story with Hoping for Love! I’m totally enamored with Grace and Evan! When I got to the last page I said, “noooooooo I don’t want it to be over!” I just love everything about Ms. Force’s McCarthys of Gansett Island series! These people have become like family. They make me laugh and cry and dream of love. Grace and Evan’s beautiful relationship blooms stunningly in Hoping for Love. Both characters have a lot of questions about their feelings and I love how Ms. Force leads these two down the path of love.

I just love Ms. Force’s style of writing. Her ability to seamlessly take you from one situation to another is amazing. Grace and Evan stole my heart in Hoping for Love but they are not the only couple that makes this series unforgettable. I’m so excited about the budding relationship between Laura and Owen. The way he is with her makes me swoon! I have been so worried about Big Mac since the accident in Ready for Love. It was so great to see him and Linda get some time in this book. However, there is one relationship that totally revs my engine! I cannot wait to see what happens with Tiffany and Blaine. Tiffany’s situation is tense and frightening. There are lots of great laughs in Hoping for Love but Tiffany’s stunt at the end got the biggest. I can’t wait to see how Tiffany’s shop and hopefully her impending relationship with Blaine stir up Gansett Island in Ms. Force’s next novel.
