Jack’s overprotectiveness and his intense desire and affection for Caroline is as irresistibly sexy as ever. And Caroline’s gentle heart shines valiantly. Jack and Caroline’s altruistic tendencies put Caroline in danger when a drug-addicted criminal threatens her life, making Jack’s fears of losing his wife a possible reality. I adored Dangerous Lover and so was thrilled to get to read more about Jack and Caroline. I love that Lisa Marie Rice is revisiting her characters. It’s a great new trend in her writing repertoire.
