Sullenly, Kathryn goes counting down the days until she can return home. That is until she connects with a handsome fellow traveler on the cruise.

In order to pacify his sister’s ultimatum, Justin Kapp unenthusiastically finds himself on an Alaskan cruise never expecting to meet a beautiful woman who instantly sets his soul on fire. After spending days and nights enjoying each other’s company, Justin and Kathryn are reluctant to part ways as their cruise fling comes to an end. As luck would have it, Justin finds his way back into Kathryn’s life. This time around, will Justin be able to persuade Kathryn that she belongs with him?

I found If You Dare to be a terrific read. It’s amazing how someone can get so caught up in their daily work that one forgets to enjoy life. This sums it up for both Kathryn and Justin characters. As a divorce attorney, Kathryn is very narrow-minded when it comes to love and Justin does not have time for commitment because of his border patrol officer duties. Watching Kathryn and Justin come to terms with balancing a career and a relationship was an intriguing affair filled with drama and blazing hot, erotic romance. I was fanning my face with envy and excitement; but, more importantly, I was rooting for Kathryn and Justin to find their happily-ever-after. If You Dare is one novella not to be missed!
