Carina has grown up under her violent father’s unyielding control.  When he agrees to marry her off to one of his cronies, Carina’s mother knows she has to get her daughter off the planet and even risks her life to do so.  Using hidden, secret contacts, a plan is put in place for Carina’s rescue.

Daniel has no desire to risk his life to rescue some spoiled debutant, but it’s his job and he is nothing if not loyal.  Daniel’s whole outlook changes when he meets Carina for the very first time. She is nothing like he imagined or expected and everything he has ever craved.

Daniel and Carina escape, except fate is a relentless wench – these two lovers have to use every ounce of cunning they possess in order to stay alive.  Their adventure is dangerous, but it brings them closer.  All too soon, just the thought of being without the other is something Daniel and Carina are not willing to chance.

Insatiable is Lauren Dane’s third foray into the Federation world she began with Undercover.  It is by far my favorite.  Carina’s character is stubborn, strong, and dependable.  She is able to take care of herself, but is not too independent to accept help.  I’ve loved Daniel since his introduction in a previous installment.  The first time he was introduced, I noticed his looks and his loyalties.  He loves with his whole heart and I just know that as the object of his affection, Carina is one lucky woman.

Insatiable is fast moving, suspenseful, and oh so smoking hot!  Carina and Daniel are running for their lives, however, that doesn’t stop them from falling in love.  Each touch of their hands on the other is sensuous and sultry.  Undeniably, these two noteworthy characters definitely belong together!
