Ben has a surprise for Erin, with Todd’s help.  He has booked them all tickets to Fiji for ten wonderful days and nights – just the three of them.  Ben and Todd have arranged for one of Erin’s siblings to take care of the baby and now all that’s left is to pack and make their plane.

Erin is thrilled with the surprise that Todd and Ben have given all of them.  A sexy and erotic vacation with the men she loves more than anything is just the ticket, until Erin remembers the date in the middle of their vacation.  Guilty because she forgot the anniversary of her worse pain, Erin shuts down on Todd and Ben.  The men know this anniversary is hard on Erin and now the question is just how do they help her accept that it is okay for life to continue and still remember a love that is lost.  It takes that very special type of love and acceptance that exists between Erin, Ben and Todd to save their vacation and take them all a huge step further in their own loving relationship.

When a remembered nightmare rips a tear in what should be a joyous time, it’s a deep love and the strength gained from it that overcomes everything in Laid Open.  I have loved Erin, Ben and Todd’s relationship since they came together and I have watched as they have grown in their love and lives together.  When that dreaded date happened I could feel Erin’s pain and sorrow along with Ben and Todd’s determination to get everyone past the pain of death.  As I read on, I saw that all three had their deepest emotions, pain and love torn open for exposure and yet I knew that was exactly what helped them find a way to bridge over those exposed truths and find a deeper level of love than they had experienced before.  This trip to Fiji might not have been what Erin, Ben and Todd were expecting but I know that they all left for home much stronger and deeper in love than they arrived.  Laid Open has fun parts, erotic parts and parts that will bring you to tears and through it all I never lost the knowledge of the love that held and kept Erin, Ben and Todd together forever.
