Dana Marton’s Last Spy Standing is a guns blazing, seat gripping, intense suspense novel that tips the bar with its jungle romance. When these opposite sides attract they do it at fever pitch in Last Spy Standing. Mitch and Megan may be cut from the same spy cloth but they have different agendas. I love their powerful action sequences you can feel the attraction between them especially when they are verbally sparring. The heat overflows when these two get together. I like the fact that even though there is this attraction between them they don’t start working together immediately. Mitch and Megan make this extreme situation believable. As I was reading, I felt like I was watching one of those summer action blockbusters. The amazing detail that Ms. Marton has put into this suspense novel is remarkable. Scary snakes and creepy spiders make this jungle extremely frightening for a girl who is more comfortable in the concrete jungle. Get ready for an explosive good time as you flip the pages of Last Spy Standing. I will definitely be sampling more of Ms. Marton’s work!
