It was a last minute decision to visit Frolic that night, though once Jude Thatcher saw that DeRocher was on the playbill he couldn’t leave.  Fifteen years ago Jude was a wide eyed college student who caught the eye of garage band lead singer Wynn DeRocher.   They enjoyed a memorable, passionate relationship before a moment of nastiness drove them apart as both were too stubborn and immature to apologize.

They are brought together once more on a night when Jude’s career hangs by a thread and Wynn’s personal demons as a worldwide rock star involved in a horrific accident are slowly destroying him.  Can two men let the mistakes of the past finally rest?  They buried their love for each other with bitterness and ego. This time Jude and Wynn can start fresh if they chose to.

Traumatic mistakes in the past are dredged up as Jude and Wynn try to move forward in the angst ridden drama Leather Jackets.  It seems as if the characters step out of the story, their feelings and thoughts are so alive the reader will get caught up in their issues.  Interesting characters, taut dialogue, and an entertaining plotline are deftly handled by talented author K.C. Kendricks who definitely knows how to deliver a truly enjoyable story.  With bated breath readers will hope that Jude and Wynn can forgive the past and get on with a happy future together.  Leather Jackets will leave you rooting for these guys to make it.
