From the moment werekin Lewis Larson met John Lesley, his brother’s boss, he’s been fretting and stressing, practically non-stop. Which by the way isn’t really helpful as it kind of puts a damper on his art, his painting. Lewis isn’t quite sure what to do. He’s always slept with women in the past, yet his wolf half is telling him to find John and claim him. Oh, and then there’s that other itsy, bitsy problem. John Lesley is a vampire. How can he bring home a man as his mate, a man who’s a vampire no less? No wonder Lewis is a wreck.
Lessons for Lewis stands out with clever dialogue, very determined lovers, and a fast paced plotline. The werekin and the vampire are charming and sexy, with the added bonus of engaging secondary characters. At first the plotline is simply light and breezy but a difficult situation arises to give depth and interesting twists to the story. Overall, an entertaining tale. Sometimes however, there are bumpy bridges from one scene to the next, a choppy, uneven flow which does slow the action. Nevertheless, Lessons for Lewis will sate your desire for a feel good story.
