Putting him out there, trying to find someone to have a relationship with is a constant drill in self motivation for ex-Army Ranger David Majors. Due to extensive injuries David received while abroad and serving his country, his love life is practically nonexistent. The moment a potential lover, even a one night stand sees beneath David’s clothing they are gone like the proverbial wind. If he’s lucky they don’t say what they’re thinking.
Another Friday night, David girds his loins and enters a friendly gay bar near home in Jacksonville. Tonight it seems the angels are looking down on him when he meets Kevin Boxer, who is ironically also an ex-Army Ranger. They hit it off at the bar where they discover so much in common. When the evening turns to one of their homes and pursuing the sexual attraction they feel it’s time for David to come clean, to see if Kevin is willing to look past the scars and damage to see the man inside.
Of course it takes Kevin a moment to accept the brutal assault to David’s body. but that doesn’t stop him from giving David the best night of his life. As the days pass and their nights become more intense the couple begins to realize what they have together and fall in love. Love, however doesn’t answer the difficulties they will face in the future. First off neither has come out to their parents or siblings. It won’t be an easy road for David and Kevin but they know their love can overcome anything. After all, it brought them together.
Magic Fingers proves emphatically that love comes in many beautiful forms and can happen when you least expect. This is a lovely romance where the main characters take turns telling readers how they fell in love. David deserves true love like anyone else and considering his scars it will take someone special to look past them. There are bumps and hiccups along the way but eventually everything falls into place in a tender story called Magic Fingers.
