Abigail Pembroke’s grandmother was a Harmonic Euphonical protector for Rapture Bay. Abigail is magic and was born with a destiny but ran from it and the two men who might just share it with her. Now she is back at Rapture Bay and quickly realizes that running didn’t change her destiny, Rapture Bay’s needs or her passion for Lash.

Lash MacKenzie is a wolf shape shifter and the Mayor of Rapture Bay. He has waited several years for Abigail to return and take her place with him and his lover, Taggart. Time might be running out for them all as the elders are being killed and all harmony is being lost unless new Harmonic Euphonicals take their place.

Taggart Este is also a shape shifter coyote and trickster, and the Sheriff. Taggart needs to find out who is killing the elders and trying to destroy Rapture Bay. While he loves Lash, Taggart is not as positive about Abigail. However, both men knows that the three of them have to commit to each other and share the gifts in order to save Rapture Bay. When you are talking about two dominant shape shifters and one independent and feisty sorceress, it’s not as easy as you might think.

Destiny might be pre-determined but the lucky ones discover love along the way.  Manimal Attraction has personalities clashing in a way that threatens harmony and survival in Rapture Bay. I could see why Abigail ran, scared of what the future held for her; even if it meant leaving her heart with Lash and Taggart. In all ménages there has to be one person to be the middle point. Usually it’s the woman but in this case it was Lash. I found his understanding helped Abigail, and his strength kept Taggart in line. Keeping their home in harmony was their destiny but I found that combining their hearts was their salvation. Manimal Attraction combines many elements including magic and mystery into a story that is a true erotic page-turner.
