Post apocalyptic Sydney is one of the last so called ‘free’ cities because not all of the people are owned body and soul by a corporation.  Certainly there is a corporate presence, but there is a large percentage of illegal’s living in Sydney as well.

As a surgical technician for SirenCare, Bailey is entitled to live within their corporate enclave, but he chooses to live outside their control.  Bailey prefers to pursue his passions privately.  Quenching his thirst one evening he meets Jack ‘Quint’ Quinton, bartender and illegal.  Complete opposites the two nonetheless hit it off immediately and grow closer with each encounter.

Believing their relationship is becoming something more, Bailey is surprised when Quint stops coming around.  Little does he know Quint’s been picked up for being an illegal.  The only chance Quint has for freedom is with Bailey’s help.  But are things serious enough for Bailey to stick his neck out?

Marginalia is an exciting new adventure story within a scary world invented by talented author Laney Cairo.  Humorous, sharp dialogue, and intriguing characters forced to survive in a harsh, unforgiving world.  Hot, edgy sexual encounters add to the tale too.  A perfect escape from reality Marginalia will keep readers enthralled.
