Dr. Joyce Yards takes her job seriously. As a psychologist for the recently discovered New Species, she hopes to make a difference and help them acclimate to society. However, one of the New Species, known as 466, refuses to open up and makes her feel things she shouldn’t for a patient. Joy knows that the closeness that grows between her and 466 could be bad for both of them so she takes action. Unfortunately, that takes her away from 466 completely.
Moon has finally adjusted to being a free person when a horrible attack causes him to become feral. No one knows what to do except call in the one person that helped him before. When Joy learns that 466, Moon, needs her help she accepts readily. She never expected what she would find.
Can Joy help Moon? Will he be able to forgive her for leaving him for so long ago?
Laurann Dohner’s Moon is another fantastic addition to her New Species series! I absolutely love this series. It remains fresh and sexy as new characters find their happily ever after. The first scenes between Joy and Moon are intense and full of steamy lust. These two have a rough road to travel in this novel. Their obstacles only make it sweeter. I love the toughness of Joy. She is a woman that does not back down from a challenge and she is willing to fight for this man! Moon has a lot of anger towards Joy that brings a lot of emotion to the story. As always, I am highly entertained by Ms. Dohner’s New Species and I once again cannot wait to read the next one!
