The crew of the Lady Blue recently increased when the Captain found Gigi, his mate. Then Gigi invited Paxton Chambers to join the crew and help in the kitchen. Pax is a timid little shadow of a cutie whose circumstances never gave him a chance for a decent life until now. Embarrassed by his past Pax refuses to even contemplate starting a relationship with crew member Colt Walking Cloud, a hawk shifter and his mate.

It’s driving Colt crazy to keep his hands off Pax. He’s figured out that Pax’s past was bad, but there must be some way to get his mate to look towards a future with him. Making the sexual tension more difficult is the discovery of slugs on board after picking up a client and his cargo. The deadly mucus covered slugs are multiplying faster than Colt’s seduction of Pax. Somehow Colt will prove how much he values Pax, hopefully before the damn slugs take over the Lady Blue.
