Cole Riley is a football star in need of an image makeover. His talent is never in question, but his life off the field leaves much to be desired. His agent brings in image consultant Savannah Brooks much to Cole’s dismay.
Savannah Brooks is surprised by the charming Cole Riley. His sweet nature doesn’t translate in the media. It seems he’s determined to keep that side of himself hidden. The press seems to only catch the cocky player.Savannahmust convince Cole to show his true self to the media, which is harder than you may think.
Cole may be opposed to an image makeover, but he has no problem taking the beautifulSavannahto bed.Savannahmay give in to her attraction to Cole, however can he win her heart?
Playing to Win is another sizzler from Author Jaci Burton. One cocky player and one sassy woman make beautiful mattress music together. Oh forget the mattress, these two handle things outside the bedroom just as well. Cole andSavannah’s risky romp at the Riley’s sports bar was downright naughty and delicious.
At times Cole was too arrogant for his own good and I wanted to thrash him. Savannah, however, handled him marvelously. I loved that when it came down to it Cole had to work to win his woman! I love the fact that Cole can put his attitude to the side and realize that what Savannah is suggesting is working for him. She makes him see outside of himself. I love when he has those light bulb moments. While Savannah improves Cole’s image he attempts to steal her heart. Savannah and Cole’s flirty moments make Playing to Win all the sweeter. Watching them fall in love is so much fun! Ms. Burton’s entertaining erotic stories are mixed effortlessly with sports themed heroes making for one hit novel after another. I can’t wait to read the next Play-by-Play novel.
