Chance Cutter does not understand why his two best friends are gung-ho to settle down with one woman when there are so many different beautiful women to enjoy. He cannot imagine being with the same woman for the rest of his life until he meets and instantly falls for Emerald Stone. Now, he understands what his friends are talking about. But Emerald wants nothing to do with him. Will Chance be able to convince her otherwise?

Pulled Over is the third book in Marie Rochelle’s Hunks series and can be enjoyed as a standalone. However, I would recommend reading the first two installments to discover more about the often mentioned secondary characters’ relationships. After experiencing Emerald in the previous two novels, I was prepared not to like her because of her behavior. However, after learning more about her past, I can grasp her personality much better and how she can easily be misunderstood. At the beginning Chance is a bitter man and because of this he almost loses his two best friends. It was comforting to see Emerald bring him down a couple of notches. Yet, by the end, Chance wins me over by his honest and endless pursuit of Emerald. I love the intense chemistry between the couple and it is easy to see how their romance blooms at a rapid pace because of their past history. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Rochelle comes up with next.
