Tavon is a Life Keeper, whose entire job is about saving and protecting life so when he is accused of murder it is a shock to say the least. Tavon knows he didn’t do it but now his only hope is to convince the Keeper who was sent after him not only of his innocence but also of his love for her. Rammi is a Death Keeper, one who has never messed up a job. When she is given the job of tracking down and bringing in Tavon, no one doubted she would do the job. When Rammi and Tavon come together, Rammi knows that something is wrong with the evidence she was given, but an event in her past has her looking hard at him. Tavon knows he will only have one chance to show Rammi not only that he is innocent, but that she is his bonded mate and he wants nothing more than to explore the passion between them. Unraveling the events that put the mark on Tavon leads them both to even more answers of a long ago murder that Tavon was accused of.

Keepers of Life and Death come together in a passion that will not be denied in Rammi. Tavon and Rammi are truly opposite sides of a coin and yet I could see that they were perfect for each other. I was intrigued by not only the past that had affected them both, but also how well they could work together to find out who had marked Tavon for murder. Their passion was undeniable and so was the connection between them that went way beyond that passion. I loved watching them follow the clues to clear Tavon and further on the final solution of who murdered the two Keepers and why. Rammi is filled with passion and suspense that will keep you turning the pages.

While you could read the Mystic Keepers series individually, I would strongly suggest you read them in order for the underlying mystery.
