Drake and Grace are secluded on a beautiful island to keep themselves alive. If Drake’s enemies knew where he was they’d kill him. The isolation is harder on Grace than Drake, so Drake decides to take Grace on a trip for Christmas. That decision proves to be a near fatal one when, even with all of his precautions, danger finds them anyway.

I’ve never known Lisa Marie Rice to revisit characters. I hope it becomes a trend. It’s exciting, and interesting that the author found Drake and Grace compelling enough to be the first. Reckless Night has just about everything you’d want to know about Drake and Grace without reading their full-length novel Dangerous Passion. Drake is as enigmatic and paranoid as ever. (Good thing!) And Grace is still sophisticated and enchanting. Lisa Marie Rice captures just the right amount of excitement, danger, sex, and romance with Reckless Night. Fans of Dangerous Passion will no doubt enjoy this look into where Drake and Grace are one year later as much as I did.
