Michelle Andrews has spent years catering to her country music superstar sister.  But, this same sister now has so many issues that Michelle seems to becoming more of her enabler and parent than sister and manager.  Michelle finds she needs a break more than her sister does.  But will her sister continue to take advantage of her or will Michelle finally get the break she needs in Savage Valley?

Michelle never expects to find the loves of her life.  She never expected to love more than one man, let alone three, and then add the fact they are bear shifters to that recipe and it just might be more than Michelle can handle.  But, will their love help her break away from her sister and find herself again?

And will Michelle end up having to save her sister yet again?  This time from NormCorps scheme to expose Savage Valley and its most treasured secret?  More importantly will Michelle be able to accept a future with three bear shifters as her mates?

Rugged Return can be easily read as a stand-alone story though I recommend the entire series.  I thoroughly enjoyed how Michelle goes from being the “doormat” enabler to the person who is highly cherished, just through the love and appreciation of the Ashley brothers.  Ms. DuBois also does a wonderful job in the interactions between the Ashley brothers and their very different personalities.  I found Rugged Return to be a sweet and sexy bear shifter story.
