Kami Evans is performing the hardest job of her career.  An actress, she is used to assuming different personas.  Tonight’s role, however, is different than anything she has ever done – she is portraying a paid escort.  Kami’s first assignment is to be CEO Breck Lawson’s companion for the evening with one goal in mind…she is to steal Breck’s hair brush.  Kami doesn’t understand why, but if it will lead her to answers concerning her brother’s death she will do anything.

Breck Lawson has his own role to fill.  He has gone undercover posing as the CEO of his best friend’s company.  His escort’s arrival brings complications Breck doesn’t need, but when he accidentally learns Kami’s motives he suspects they can be allies beyond the bedroom.

Breck Lawson.  I love his name!  Just reading it makes me envision a take charge kind of man.  He is sexy and loyal and very aware of Kami.  Kami is just as aware of Breck.  Their attraction burns brightly as they search for the answers they both need.

Scent of Persuasion is another great romantic suspense by author Nikki Duncan.  It utilizes previous characters as well as newly introduced ones.  The suspense is dead on and I wasn’t able to even begin to guess how the plot would pan out. Scent of Persuasion stumped me.  Erotic love scenes combined with intoxicating and addictive characters make Scent of Persuasion a book I will read quite often.
