Anna Corbin is tired of being kept from her family and the town she loves. She has graduated college and no one is going to tell her what to do anymore. If she wants to come home to Sweetrock and get to know her cousin she will. Unfortunately, her grandfather disapproves and disowns her, now she’s on her own and a killer is on the hunt. Will she be the next victim or will the man she’s always loved step up to the plate?
Sheriff Archer Tobias’s weakness just strolled back into town. The last thing he needs is a distraction with a cold-blooded killer on the loose but oh what a sweet distraction Anna is. He will never let any harm come to the little vixen even if he has to tie her up himself to keep her safe.
Archer may want Anna’s body but can he give her more than a romp in the sack? Will he get the chance to find out if he’s capable of love or will the Slasher take Anna before everyone finds out the truth?
Hot sex and sweet suspense are wrapped tightly in Lora Leigh’s Secret Sins. Archer and Anna’s story is my favorite of the series. More secrets are revealed and while we may have guessed some of them it is exciting as the drama unfolds. We don’t get much of the Callahan cousins in this book but the story between Archer and Anna makes up for it. Their passion is explosive and oh so magical. I love Anna. She’s tough, yet sensitive and when she gets in Archer’s face it’s HOT!
I had expected to get Crowe’s story next but I like how Ms. Leigh spiced up the story by adding in Anna and Archer at this time. Secret Sins really sets up the next book which I think will be fantastic since I’m pretty sure I know who Crowe’s lady love will be.
Be prepared to handle the heat because the pages of Secret Sins will blister your fingers if you’re not careful.
