Lindsey Paxton is an FBI agent who started out as an attorney in her father’s firm.  But after winning a case and then believing that someone died because of that, Lindsey just couldn’t face doing it again and left to join the FBI.  Now she is back in New York and once again facing a case that will bring back all the memories.  Lindsey knows she can’t do it on her own and hopes that now with her father so ill she can bring back in the man that was training to take over the firm.

Mark Reeves is an attorney shooting to the top, he had planned on taking over the Paxton firm until a fight with Lindsey’s father had him leaving it all behind.  Mark is a bit surprised when Lindsey shows up on his doorstep with her request to come back to the firm.  Lindsey tempts Mark but not to come back and help out, no he is tempted to see what she is like on a much more personal level.

Lindsey knew that Mark might say no, but when he did she was left with trying to figure out how to deal with a firm in shambles and a case she doesn’t want.  Mark changes his mind after reviewing the case but he has some strict stipulations to help out.  Now working together Lindsey and Mark are a team but it isn’t all smooth sailing.  The danger surrounding the case is almost as intense as the passion that is smoldering between them.  As answers are found and more questions turn up, Mark and Lindsey discover that not all the facts are as they believed.  The case is over finally but now the court is out on whether Lindsey and Mark can find that happy ending that seems to be just at their fingertips.

A temporary team turns into a lifetime of law and love in Secrets Exposed.  Lindsey is forced to come home when her father turns ill and leaves a huge case that brings back bad memories.  Mark never expected to walk into the Paxton law firm after he left, yet for Lindsey he does just that.  The suspense that follows Lindsey and Mark as they hunt for the answers on their case kept me turning the pages.  While hunting for clues, I found that both Lindsey and Mark also had to search for answers on what they wanted with the passion building between them.  I was surprised by what they found when the final answer was discovered and was very happy that both Lindsey and Mark came out of it safely.  And yet I found myself wondering if Mark and Lindsey would be able to grab the happiness that was theirs for the taking until the very end.  Secrets Exposed swirls suspense, passion and tension from the first page until the last on a journey of danger and love everlasting.
