The Five Cities ofRystalLakeare no longer strictly governed by the High Lord of Reagalos, yet the city states continue to keenly look to the leader of the city ofKatraman. The current High Lord has four adult children, but it is a well guarded secret as to the name of the next leader to protect him as long as possible from current political intrigues and assassination plotting.
It honestly shouldn’t have surprised the Reagalos family that their wild and magically powerful ancestor would leave a mess that his youngest grandson is forced to clean up. Lornyc Reagalos will be the next High Lord, yet because of his grandfather he has to play valet to Methian, the next Lord of Hadral who ironically happens to be his secret lover. Before the terms of his servitude expire Lornyc will be forced to grow up in ways he never imagined.
Another world, another reality where magic is real and intrigue is around every corner comes alive in Servitude. A unique cast of colorful characters, beginning and ending with Lornyc and Methian make Servitude a fascinating tale. The richly detailed plot takes many turns, some more interesting and unexpected than others at times. Though light in sexual encounters it’s the interaction between characters that keeps the reader involved. Servitude is a compelling showcase for well drawn characters in a unique situation.
