Eve MacMillian is coming to terms with loving more than one man and what that might mean for the future. Especially when she finds out her men have more than what meets the eye to them, as they are werewolves. Shane is known as the joker in the group, but it doesn’t take Eve long to figure out that it is more of a defense mechanism for Shane than who he really is. When Eve gets Shane to talk with her about his years away from the pack and what scars this gave him from his childhood she finds she loves him more than she thought she could.
As Shane falls for Eve, he finds that some of his old nightmares have resurfaced, and they just might tie into what is happening to the pack and the local wolves. But, when an argument leaves them at odds and Eve in danger Shane will do what he needs to do to protect the woman he loves.
Shane’s Need is the latest in the fantastic series by Kiera West; the Great Wolves of Passion, Alaska. This is not a story that should be a read alone, it really needs to be part of the entire series, as the website recommends. And I highly recommend the entire series. This is my fourth book and I love how Shane, the joker in the group, is really one of the more sensitive members of the pack. I can’t wait for the next installment, and the overall conclusion to Eve and her men’s stories. If you are at all intrigued by the idea that one woman might need more than one man to make her whole than this series is one you need to invest in.
